Well, I'm off to Sundance tomorrow with a friend of mine, Ignacio.  He is another editor and has a connection to a film that is showing up there.  We'll be hitting the slopes for a half day of snowboarding as well.

Trip to Grandma's Birthday Jubilee

I didn't write stories of superheroes or villians but I did save a little boy from cracking his head against the ground. Plus, I took these photos (except for the one I am in).

Boot Camp - Week One over

If you think I look huge and tone in this photo (stolen from another blog), just wait until you see me later. Kelli and I have been doing a boot camp workout session at 5:15 am. Around 35 minutes of intense treadmill and 25 minutes of other stuff (each day changes though). We have been walking with sore muscles all week. Honestly, if I didn't get a wakeup call from Kelli at 4:45, I don't think I could get up. Initially, I agreed to do this to support Kelli in her effort to lose some weight but I'm happy that I'm doing this thing.

Goodell Wedding

On July 4th, Jon got married to Crystal. It was a backyard swimming pool party wedding. The temp was 115 degrees.

Kelli talks to the animals. She has a squirrel friend outside her work that comes and eats nuts from her hand. It's incredible.

7 months later I post

I learned a very cool technique to clean your stinky, smelly and, yes, slimy
garbage disposal. Just fill it up with ice cubes, run some cold water and
flip the switch. Hear the ice cubes shatter, see gunk fill the air, and
smell the stink drift away...

Hawaii...here I come

I'm off to Hawaii for the U2 concert with Pearl Jam. Paul and I leave at 6am from LAX. It should be a fun weekend. I'll have photos and such when I'm back...

Job Update

Alright. I got a job offer today...and I took it. I will be editing on an NBC game show called Identity. It is paying very well but I have to work at nights. It's a shorter gig than normal but it will bring me through to Christmas.
